Cambio demográfico en rexións europeas.

O Declive demográfico, o Envellecemento e a Transformación Rexional (DART) son retos para moitas rexións de toda Europa. Por este motivo, 13 rexións –todas elas afectadas polo envellecemento e un proceso de desertización humana- están a cooperar para realizar unha aprendizaxe comparativa, identificar e transferir solucións axeitadas para abordar o cambio demográfico.

DART definirá novos indicadores para medir o despoboamento e outros síntomas de cambio demográfico nas rexións europeas. Eses indicadores permitirán realizar comparativas de datos entre diferentes rexións.

DART identificará en cada rexión boas prácticas fortalecedoras da economía, así como aquelas de interese tanto educativo, como sanitario ou de servizos sociais.

DART elaborará recomendacións políticas aos grupos de interese rexionais e europeos e aumentará a conciencia política en relación co despoboamento e envellecemento demográfico das rexións.

O proxecto rematará a finais de 2012.

The demographic crisis existing in Western Europe has been recognized in Lower Silesia as well. Thus there is necessity of massive campaiging and to undertake some actions in the field of social policy especially on the sub-regional or even sub-national level, just like the DART Project does. It helps to gather valid demographic statistics and strengthens self–governmental bodies in their preventive actions.
